I recorded this stuff in September 2006, in a few days, using a Rocktron Chameleon 2000 preamp and Amplitube plug for cabinet simulation and EQing. The guitar was an old Fender Strat copy with single coil pickups. The bass was Ibanez EDA-905, put through an amp direct, and tweaked with Amplitube. The drums I programmed from live samples of my main band's recordings. The vocals were recorded with a simple mike via the bass amp direct in an untreated room with terrible acoustics.
The stuff was only preliminary mixed during tracking, and later I had problems with the PC, so couldn't mix it properly. In the end my HDD screwed up, so I was left with unmixed material burned previously on a CD-R.
And here it is
Already hailed among the epic metal fans, it got 8.5/10 to 9.5/10 in some metal webzines. Nice oldschool sound came out of this non-mixed accident-ridden production
