I this was discussed a while back but any news on this thing? Anyone tried it? Is it available to purchase? Checked out the site for a minute and it had very little info

We'll see what the price turns out to be. But I'm serious, if this thing turns out as good as it seems from the videos, then it would be one of the funnest toys ever. I mean, someone could just post a clip of some tone they got from a krank, just upload it on to the thing and see what happens. I'm aware that this product definitely seems too good to be true, but I'm still very interested in the results

not available at the moment at Thomann but they already show it for 1450€ so way cheaper than the Axe-Fx
and there are some really awesome samples from betatesters at the musiker-board, you can tweak the amps
but not as much as with the Axe-Fx and there are less FX-Units.
But I get the feeling that the amp sounds are better-and it seems to be capable of something really strange.
You can profile your amp through your cab and after you profiled it the kemper is able to tell which part of the
sound is from the cab and from the amp and you're able to seperate it.
Haven't heard a sample for this stuff, but some of the betatesters said that it works realyl well, I have no clue
how that should work, but it would be fucking awesome!

lol
I guess people at axefx will be pissed off when this wil be ready!
I imagine buying stuff from thomann, profiling the amp, claiming a refund and get the money back lol

Expect to be black listed a Thomann soon

I got a Bugera combo from Thomann and returned it... it just sounded like pure fizz to me. Anyways I didn't get a full refund. Apparently they will charge you if you don't return the amp in the same box it came in. Also they told me that I had damaged the foot controller which just isn't true, but I didn't want to argue with them. :) So it ended up costing me around 70€ to test a Bugera combo. Doesn't matter though because I'm rich as f...

but... your name is clark kent, not bruce wayne :loco:

on topic though, I haven't read anything on this thing yet, does it simply match eq? Sounds too good for just that. Still wouldn't replace a real amp, but surely it will be fun fun fun

The Kemper doesn't match eq. It is a unique distortion formula consisting about 60 variables. :Spin:

Try and research how they interact :D And make a freeware plugin profile player :D

Yeah it's not match EQ. It sounds like a complex convolution process.

60 variables... might be pushing it a bit. :D

It's probably measuring the dynamic side of things and the EQ side of things and that's all. Sure there are many variables inside these two.

Every time I see a video for this thing I can always tell which is which. It seems like everything else about it is basically identical except for some added midrange of sorts. Hard to explain but it's unmistakable every time.

Despite that... it's still pretty damn cool and the price is surprising. I want to hear it do METAL though. If it can handle that then I'd be totally interested.
