keyboardists?

i would like to start learning how to play the keys, but i dont know what the fuck kind of board i should get! I would like to be able to get a bodom/symphony x tone with it (but i suspect that has more to do with patches-which i know nothing about) so any help would be welcomed, also i would like to stay budget friendly!

im not really wanting to spend more then 500 for now, thats the key word, if i find that i can in fact play them alright, i may upgrade later, but i want something nice to get me started and of coarse, sound decent
