kicked out england today

...too soon??????????????????

I really couldn't give two shits, football doesn't interest me...

I knew you guys would win, seeing as you beat us when we're playing good... let alone drawing with USA and Algeria...

just in case anyone is complaining about a certain non-goal situation. this is how it it REALLY happened:

That was a nailbiter! Felt close to a heart attack several times throughout the first half. I accidentally hit my girlfriend really hard in ecstasy when Klose bagged the first one. :yell:

Some late reconciliation for Hurst's non-goal in '66 but I think we would have done it anyway as we were already thunderstruck as can be from the Upson goal.

I feel kinda sorry for our English mates but I must admit, it's great to see the English tabloids sucking a big one.

So... Argentina again, at the quarters again... let's hope the result will be the same again too. We'll have to put their rather week defence + goalie under pressure or we'll be overrun by probably the best offence in the tournament.

I vividly recall the match-up in 2006, so much suspense, I nearly threw up.

boooo hisss!!

Bad ref/linesman aside. Germany were easily the better team. and deserved the win
Rooney is the most useless overpaid shrek lookalike cunt ever.

i find it hugely ironic, and thus, monumentally hilarious that the entire country has been decked out in england flags and sudden patriotism from our generally overwhelmingly apathetic country, and our team has been getting their asses royally handed to them.
4-1 to germany is a fucking crackup xD

aside from that i cant find it in me to give a shit about the football
i dig the vuvazela's though, or however you spell it
big horn drone for 90 minutes, love it.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
that is some cool shit

Pleeeease don't win the world cup. :)

Because if you win, everyone here will be talking that we are the only team that beat Germany and that we would have won the world cup if didn't get screwed over by judges against Australia. But we suck and I want people here to admit it!

+1

back to the apathy methinks

I was a bit sad for england because that No-goal was a turn in the match. It was an egalization goal, before the pause of 45mn. Although, it was a period when England was increasing in intensity and was playing greater than Germany.

As they were finally 2-1 only, the tactics had to change and this is a dramatic difference with being 2-2 at the pause, psychologically knowing you were dominating the last part of the first 45mns and you had put 2 goals to get back. The coach had to change a defensor for an attacker, because he had to put 1 goal to get to 2-2 at least, leading to a minored defense.

I'm sure the match would have been different. Not saying England would have won, just at least the fight would have been fair and maybe there wouldn't have been such a useless 2nd 45mn part with those counter attack goals (which were greatly thought by mueller though).

Same for Argentina / Mexico. A goal was accepted when it was a nogoal. And the score does not show what happened in the match cause Mexico played great too. This was an important error. Those are unacceptable in 1/8 of finals in a world cup, and now everybody is starting to agree they should accept video playback for arbitrary reasons. When such an error happens to the 4:0, it's okay. But when it gives a 1:0 or doesn't give the egalization, it's damn a play-killer.

Still, good luck against Argentina. They played great.

Well, but England did NOT change a thing. Cole came for Milner and Heskey for Defoe, both on-position changes. It wasn't until the 87th minute when Capello brought Wright-Phillips for Johnson, thus restructuring the rigid 4-4-2 only slightly... if at all.

But we suck and I want people here to admit it!

I <3 Neven Subotic! :tickled:
