Kid gets busted for stealing virtual furniture

Furniture shouldn't be bought or sold online. It's not even real. How can you be arrested for stealing nothing?

thats pretty dumb... and who would spend money only to buy unreal stuff?

Someone sued someone because he cashed in 200,000 real dollars for videogame money (I think for second life) and didn't get it. If I had that much money to do something with I wouldn't spend it on a stupid game.

It's not that surprising, if you steal a commodity that actually has a value that correlates to the market in the non-digital world, then of course it will be continued stealing (and thus, can lead to serious repercussions).

You guys swear.
