Kind of possibly good news maybe?

NO @ supporting (or otherwise touring with) Metallica.

Imagine how expensive the friggin tickets would be!

I don't think Steve or Bruce (or the rest of the for that matter) would agree to being a support act / opening act for anyone anyway, especially after headlining rock in rio etc. The same probably goes for Lar$ and co too.

I just got front row seats for Metallica! (Well as long as I stand outside long enough before the show, which I will) :)

My 120 dollar membership to the Metallica club finally did something good and I got to buy the tickets early because im a club member  :)

Standing room only, I could have gotten the first tier seats I guess but id rather try to get closer with the standing room than be stuck in a seat.

Im taking the plunge. I figure its worth it to put in the extra $40 being right up the front than still paying nearly $90 for seats that could be shite.

Maybe I will wear my Megadeth t shirt ;)

I disagree Sprucey, its been so long since Maiden came I doubt they could fill the Entertainment Centre. Maybe im underestimating the fan base, but I dont think BNW even sold enough copies that it would mean they could fill the EC if everyone who bought that went. Ill happily be proved wrong though!

I have to agree. Slayer couldn't even fill the EntCent in "intimate mode" when they toured in 98; Pantera barely filled the Hordern on their last tour. Maiden would probably get more fans than both of those bands (the old school nuts who haven't seen them since the 80s, the newer fans like most of those here on this board, and curious newer fans, plus a whole bunch of people who've discovered them through so many bands giving them props in the past few years), but I doubt they'd sell more than one show at the Hordern. It's a 5000 capacity venue, so it's not exactly small.

So how much are those bloody Metallia tickets?! Whatever they are, they seem to be outside of my price range....
