I seriously don't know what the appeal of Entombed is. Not to slag them or anything, I just don't get it. Why did the King cancel, by the way?

As far as I'm concerned King Diamond not being there is more a reason to go. You couldn't pay me enough to listen to that wanker scream into a microphone for an hour and a half.

i heard the sample of a new KD track and it pretty much convinced me not to go all the way to new haven to see him on Nov. 6th.

does the cancellation go for both shows??? there was one at the pound, and one at the edge in palo alto, which i was thinking of attending.

i'm actually more interested in seeing entombed; king diamond not being there is almost relief to my ears...

I think the show at the Edge is still on, but I'm not sure. It's too much of a drive for me. And the show at the Pound was moved to the DNA Lounge ages ago FWIW.

I think I'll probably just go to Hot Cross tonight instead and drink beer tomorrow. I know if I try to see Entombed, they won't even hit the stage till midnight or something and that's just lame. I simply can't hack that when I gotta be up at 4:15am.
