He was once a medical student and kinda borrowed the bones and made a cross out of them. So the bones are 100% real!

I do not make this up. I got it strait from the source. However *he* could have made it up

I did read where the bones are real, in fact he said so when he did the 20 Questions with Sludge on 10.26.04! He didn't get into specifics about where he got it though...
