Kingcrow - In Crescendo now in stock

I just placed a moderately righteous order with you. I cannot tell you how pumped I am that you're carrying the second Disperse album. Those kids are phenomenal.

The new site's awesome too.

WEIRD. A very good friend of mine mentioned that band to me yesterday. Alright, guess that means I need to check it out.

I would say I'm sorry for hijacking the Kingcrow thread, but I'm not because Disperse deserves some love. And Ken's carrying their new disc so no harm no foul.

This is probably my favorite song off of their first album. Also the vocals are awesome.

This one's on the new album, but has been on their MySpace for a while. It looks like they're also redoing some of Jakub's solo stuff to put on the disc, which makes me squee.

The guitarist is Jakub Zytecki, whose stuff is amazing on its own (if you're into more outright djenty stuff). This song is quite possibly my favorite composition ever. No bullshit. It never fails to make me smile.

That first song sounded like it came from a Sega game haha. Pretty cool. Not sure if I dig the vocals (his accent is a bit too thick imo) but I love the fusion bits.

edit: That second track was INCREDIBLE!

You played the best Sega games ever! Hook me up with the rom!

On a more serious note, I think the heavy accent kinda adds something. It might have something to do with the amount of respect I have for people who pick up English as a second language, because it's a hard freakin language. Dunno. And yes, Unbroken Shiver is a beastly track. I can't wait to find out what they did with AUM, too. I can't wait to get in my shipment from Ken, lol. So much win in one box!

Also I just checked this one out from the new album. Love it too.

This cd is beyond awesome. I look forward to getting into my car so I can play this cd loud. I love that it gets better and better with every spin. I hope all enjoy as much as I have and I cannot wait until May too see them again. Thanks to Glenn to introducing them to us.

Kingcrow actually started a crowdfunding campaign making a lot of cool swag available for contributions for the upcoming North American tour:

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/kingcrow-north-american-tour

Check it out, some cool stuff there! Whether you can contribute with $10 or $1000, it'll make a huge difference for the boys! :)

Thanks for the heads up!!! Not only do I get the nest on the cd, I get a signed cd and DVD. Well worth it. It's like getting on the ground floor of Dream Theater here in the States. These guys should be huge!!!!!

I don't do CDs anymore, but I was able to get this off Amazon. So far, I can't say I like it quite as much as Phlegethon, but that would be tough to do. Phlegethon just has more cohesion to it I guess. It is growing on me though, and hopefully I can get a few more spins of it this weekend.

I feel you. I like the album, but it hasn't clicked with me the way Phlegethon did.
