KISS...Paul Stanley Misses Show...

From what I've read so far, Paul Stanley had some kind of heart problem before last night's show. The band went on as a three-piece, after Gene asked the crowd if they wanted them to play or cancel the show, and played mostly Gene's songs. Eric Singer sang a couple of songs and at one point they had some fans come up on stage and sing back up on Christine Sixteen.

No word on Paul Stanley's condition yet.

I just read that Paul Stanley has been released from the hospital and is at home. Good news!

Hard to believe that KISS played a show without Paul Stanley! But, I guess since the crowd was already there and the stage was set up, AND the crowd seemed OK with it, why not? I wonder how long it will be before bootlegs of this show start popping up.

Here's the video of Gene addressing the crowd the other night, pretty much said what has been reported. He tells the crowd the Paul can't do the show and asks them if they want the show to go on.

GOT is actually Paul's song anyway. The demo version with Paul singing is much better than Gene's version. Actually... anything with Paul singing is better than anything in the universe ever.

Carr sang beth ok, but he destroyed Black Diamond.
Alot of the time, he sounded too much like Gene.
I've got his solo album with Bruce Kulick, it's awesome.
