Kontakt 4?

does anyone know why Kontakt 4 is priced lower then Kontakt 3? i mean its only by 20 bucks but still. Seems strange to me.

Also, the crossgrade of Kontakt 3 (for $250) can be used with the version you got from, say, SSD3.0?? right?

as far as i know, the version with SSD is the free Kontakt Player, not the full version of Kontakt, so it wouldn't be eligible for an upgrade.

but there is a crossgrade version available for those who have a kontakt player that came with a sample library. Maybe Mr. Slate himself can answer this. Is SSD3.0 a qualifying product for the crossgrade version of Kontakt 3????
