KONTAKT/SSD question

so i jsut got my steven slate drums license, and i downloaded the samples along with the kontakt 3 that it came with. How do i edit each individual drum (when i have a multi keyboard drum kit). Im not talking about the plugins in kontakt, im talking about the plugins that are in my DAW. Is there a way?

There's a way to "multi-out" each instrument into its own track in your daw. So youre left with one midi track but lots of aux tracks to edit to your liking. However, I don't know how to do this. But I know there's some tutorials about it on YouTube and probably this forum.

When you create kontakt as a virtual instrument, set it to multi-out - 16x stereo, 16x mono, 8x stereo & 8x mono, etc. Why did you pick up SSD3 over SSD4?
