Quick SSD Installation question

I have a Macbook Pro with a Windows 7 partition on it. I installed Steven Slate Drums Platinum on the Windows 7 partition, but I also want to install it on my OSX partition. I only used disc 1, meaning I only installed the virtual instrument. I'm pretty sure I installed the Kontakt Player to the C drive, and the sample library to an external firewire drive.

When I install for OSX, do I need to install the sample library again, or can I tell the Kontakt Player to just look on the external drive for the samples?

Try it? I think that would work. It just has be to authorized both places.
