Yeah unfortunately this is the new "trend" for people to be up in arms. Lost Boys Of Sudan, Darfur, Tibet etc. Especially for us Americans its just something to talk about. This kinda stuff happens ALL the time all over the world. Its not that I feel we shouldn't do anything about it but us being citizens, I really feel like we just have no power over it no matter what we do.
Also, there is alot of info on how the foundation funding this is corrupt. Google it. Not saying its true or not but its just what I have read

Ive met these guys before, and i even met the jacob kid at my school when they came and visited. they seem really legit, and are really nice people. i know scammers are good at conning people, but it actually seemed legit

The US government and the EU don't care about this, simply because there is no profit in going to battle on African ground.
