" Kramer Vs. Epiphone " Better brand Help?

My friend wants to buy a new guitar and wants either a Kramer Vanguard or an Epiphone SG. I have never played either of the guitars and I was wondering if anyone here has? If so, Tell me which one you prefer more. I play ESP so I know nothing about Kramer or Epi.

I think that they are both sub-brands of Gibson. Have him try them both out and see what he likes best.

well it depends if the kramer is pre-fallout (before gibson bought kramer) because all the kramers built nowadays are just expensive re-issues of the baretta and shit. the epi sg is way overrated and to cli she, its not worth the money, kramer made some awesome quality guitars, the vanguard is a really good series.
