Kramer??

saw it on the news yesterday.

crazy stuff.

anyone see that dude on CNN tear the fuck into Kramer today? ouch.

as a seinfeld fan, I could really care less...even if I wasn't a seinfeld fan, I still wouldn't really care. I guess I'd have to be there to really feel it.

Oh no! He said... 'my pals'!? I'm so very shocked and appauled.

But yet its still fine for a black guy to call white people 'Crackers'. For years, and still, I have been confused by this logic.

I will continue to use the word 'my pals' as I please. Its my favorite word in the english language next to 'Cunt'.

Make no mistake, I by no means find what he said offensive or shocking, I dont really care either, the only notion of me caring was raising my left eyebrow a very slight amount.

I dont know, I'm around my pals and mexicans all day and we get along fine hell they even let me say nigga. Didnt bother me a bit, if he's open about racism then more power to him :kickass:

Its not the fact that hes saying "my pals" thats offensive, its the context in which it is used. He used it with the obvious intent to offend and it worked.

And I also will continue to use my pals, regardless of the fact that I probably havent yet come into contact with the race who is originally intended to be offended by the word.

Cunt-eyed is also a good one for Asians.

He proved himself to be a complete jackass right there.

I think the great tragedy here is that the transparency of race relations in America have been displayed once again. Multi-culturalism does not work, never did and never will.

I'm not racist and I have friends that are Black, Spanish, Latino, Gay, Straight, Lesbian, etc.. However, I find it "ironic" that black people can call themselves and each other "nigga/my pals", but if a white person does so they get upset and "bent out of shape". The word "nigga/my pals" is used in a majority of rap songs and is probably used in majority of everyday conversation among black people. Anyway, the correct definition of the word my pals simply refers to someone who is lazy. Anyone can be called a my pals. Yes, maybe it wasn't necessary for Michael Richards/Kramer to call the man a my pals. But, it also wasn't necessary for the man to call him a "white-ass cracker". People may think what Richards did was uncalled for. But it was aslo uncalled for when the man heckled Richards. Anyway, the media will hype the shit out of this situation. As Warrel's shirt reads: "T.V. LIES"

1st off
when he was saying "my pals" he didn't look racist, he looked like a white guy hyped up on crystal meth

2nd
he appologigezed on David Letterman, durring the appology he looked like he was going through somesort of whithdraw symptoms, and he looked like he was appologizing for something he didn't quite remember doing, seems consistent with above, the goth chick reading over my shoulder is totally expecting Krammer to go into re-hab in the next couple of days

i still would like to know what exactly was said to him to begin with. sure he's an eccentric man and whatnot, but part of this story is missing, and it's fairly safe to blame the media. while i admit he went a little too far, notice how you could still hear people laughing as he was ranting until "that was uncalled for"
if some white guy heckled a black comedian during his act, and the comedian made similar remarks in retaliation, it would be no big deal.
either way, in my opinion it's about time people grow up and let things go. it's like when you were a little kid and someone called you a "stupid poop face." it was said to offend you, and you took the bait and made a spectacle out of it.

stupid poop face??????

< runs and cries to my lawyer > :waah:

I'll sue you man, I'll sue all of you!!!!!

I personally don't care, the man can say whatever he wants.

Oh and everyone he is an ACTOR!!! he is not a saviour nor is he a person of great leadership and power. Just an actor that was on a good show and played Stanely Spedowski in the UHF movie. Nothing more, he can feel, say and do whatever he wishes inside the law.

He didn't seem like he was apologising from something he didn't remember doing, he just seemed so ashamed and worried that he wasn't thinking straight and wasn't sure what he was going to say.
I dont think he was on drugs during the act, he was just hella angry.
