Any fans of the experimental psychedelic rock/folk bands from Germany in the 60s/70s? I've had these sitting on my ipod and am starting to listen to them more recently, and it's some really cool stuff.

Agitation Free
Amon Düül
Ash Ra Tempel
Brainticket
Broselmaschine
Can
Cluster
Deuter
Dom
Embryo
Faust
Gaa
Grobschnitt

Klaus Schulze

Silberbart
Tangerine Dream
Xhol Caravan

I like some Krautrock but wouldn't consider myself a huge fan. A lot of it is too aimless and meandering for me so I tend to lose interest. The main ones I like are CAN (only the Suzuki era), Amon Düül and Ash Ra Tempel. I've heard some Faust and Neu! but they never really clicked with me.

I also listen to Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze's solo work but only to stuff released after they ventured into electronic/ambient territory (Phaedra and onward) so that wouldn't really count as krautrock. I've actually never even heard their krautrock material. Is that worth seeking out?
