Krynitza - Angel

Knowing how much interest this board has for music of Nebelung's kind, giving them a thread of their own felt like overdoing it. Besides, Krynitza deserves a bump -- this new track of theirs on Myspace is really cool

Have you heard the entire "Hail to the Sun" album?

Jawohl, I have it. I would stick to my previous comment, it is slightly better overall than Angel, apart from an utterly dull raven ambient track. It is short of at least two songs for the price tho...

A couple weeks ago I discovered their countrymates Arkona, who play basically Krynitza-like folk-inspired tunes only with metal all around and much better female vocals. Extremely well-done and quite moving, I think I might drop a few pennies on their discography.

Cool, I might check it out later. However, right now, there's a hiatus in my interest in metal and for the time being I tend to stick mostly to classical and "folk" music

Thanks, downloaded this as well. Sounds pretty solid, but why can't they make their CDs longer? 28 minutes comes off as pretty cheap, all though a short and good album is much preferable to an overly long good one I guess. But I still want more of this wonderful "nazi accoustic stuff"

Also, I was wrong: the new Nebelung track Sturm on their Myspace is REALLY good. He still can't sing though, but his delivery and those guitars save the day
