KsE: a light in a darkened world vocals autotune?

Hey
I just noticed an autotune on vocals (or how the hell it is called)
A light in a darkened world : 2:09 it's in "your" hand.
Perhaps anyone else noticed this already?
I wonder why they used it, because he should be able to sing it perfect?
Anyway they didn't show up on graspop last weekend, hope to catch them around in the future here in Belgium.

why does anyone use autotune? Maybe performance was good just a bit pitchy? Singers have been known to do this in the past

True, but I didn't suspect it from a band like Killswitch, because you can hear it very clearly that they used it.

Yeah a singer in a metal band should definitely have absolutely zero pitch problems.

If my singer's off by around +/- 20 cents I'd be willing to autotune him/her without making it too obvious. If it goes beyond that I'd shove the mic up his/her's ass.
