Kvelertak (is it more than just hype?)

This is a band that is getting a LOT of good words from Norwegian press these days. I would almost call it a hype. I'm not sure yet, but I can at least see that there is something to like here. They mix a lot of genres if you listen through the songs.

I post it only to hear what people here has to say about it.

The stuff from myspace seems ok to me... although I didn't notice any mix of styles. To me it lies somewhere between hardcore and punk (forgive me for such rating =) )... nothing special, yet worth listening. I guess there's quite a lot of bands of similar style/level/diversity etc. available even via myspace, so it looks like a hype)

although they have taake and nattefrost as their top friends, so they are decent

ok i cant help but keep coming back to this band, im gonna hear the full album, its just so catchy....

plus it has hoest on a song

this album is killer, one of the best albums out this year, i cannot stop listening to it. it's like black metal, punk and rock and roll but in all the best ways. if you were gonna rock out and party to some black metal, this would be the band you want to play

this could end up as album of the year for me!
