The music is so powerful, heavy and beautiful. Both Cristina and Andrea (that's the guy's name, right?)'s voices are gorgeous. The orchestral (keyboards and violins and whatever else they had on there) parts are amazing. And it's Lacuna Coil. They're wonderful.
(and this extreme use of positive adjectives is making me feel ill )

it's decent at best. some songs are great (like "heaven's a lie" and "swamped"), others are very mediocore. they probably should have left 20 or so minutes off of the release. that said, i listen to it every now and then to hear the good songs it possesses.

btw, i've seen them live twice now and cristina is still HOT AS HELL!!!

I like them, seen them in concert a few times. They're not normally the kind of music I would enjoy but for some reason I like them a lot. In A Reverie is my favorite album.

I think that's what they're hoping for... That might be the reason they're touring the US all the time. Evanescence must be huge there....

Well since Lacuna Coil predate evenescence by about 6 years I think it's the other way around.

LC blows them away. I will admit that the Gathering was the defining point of the genre but they have moved on to other styles. So Lacuna Coil takes the crown as rulers of the genre.

I have all the LC stuff and have seen them live many times. Great band.
