It's worth seeing all of it, it gets sicker and sicker towards the end. OMFG

Yeah, I've seen it 2 years ago...
He was damn amazing as a 12 year boy (did you notice how he barely touches the kick pedals with his feet?), so complete as a drummer and musician, I don't want to even think how he plays nowadays... :hypno:
I mean, his technique even back then was great, look at the various styles he's shown prowess in (latin, metal, rock, funk...), great dynamic control and still has time to fool around with the kit (like when he "slaps" the cymbals up-down-up-down  ) :worship:

I'm surprised there's not so much talk about him in general on the net, like what he's up to or whatever... It would be a damn shame if he wasn't in business.

Btw, what's that big box in front of the kick? A basstrap or what?
Any guess?

Good eyes Frank. I saw something similar on some recent soilwork pics (bergstrand as well) ...I couldn't figure it out there either but it is a better view:

I love Engl Savage 120! Also my idol Mike(Destruction) is playing one, too. You just can't go wrong!

this type of thing is often done..it's like building a mini "iso-booth" around the end of the kick where the mic is at. the idea is, of course, to minimize the amount of bleed from the other drums into the kick mic. much cleaner kick tracks are the result.
