I have to slap them on an arrogant wankers face who's alleging simulators are totaly bullshit. So please send me your clip links. I'll give him what for!!

Errr......he might have a point:Smug:

The clips on the guitaresuite site suck balls.....the "arch enemy" one is sooooooo much better...

clean and cruch sound very good I think.
Distorted sounds suck major ass! yep arch enemy it's awesome!

Maurizio

I just took another listen to it.....when the guitar is outside of the mix (i.e. alone) it sounds like balls....it is a little bit better in the mix......

Chad...the guy has a phone line effect on that guitar when it's by itself in the middle of the clip. And it sounds great in the mix. Sounds like a well mic'ed JCM900 through a 1960 cab to me. I've only had about a jillion of those come through here...

Hey guys, didn't realize the arch clip was still online, haha. :-) However, you should know that there are a couple of V-AMP tracks blended in as well. But the GS tracks are louder in the mix as they sounded better.

The timing is a bit off sometimes btw because I hade some latency issues which made it hard to play.

I have a problem with guitarsuite. If I pan right one of my tracks, it doesn't work...it works only in center position or panned left....I don't know what is it..

I had that problem a little while ago in Nuendo. I have absolutely no idea what caused it but I could only pan my guitar tracks to the center or to the right. I was running them both through the same group, so what I did was just created a new group and bussed them through that and it worked again... really fucked up.

Come on 006 give me some credit.....not the phone line effect part.....there are a few passages were the guitar is seperated from the mix for a few second in and a few seconds out....those are the parts I am talking about.....as far as "great sounding".....I think that is a personal prefrence because I by no means think its great sounding.....it is very good for what it is but you can still tell it is a sim....it screams sim....sims have this break up thing going that is not pleasing to my ears.....it is very easy to spot......I prefer the natural movement of the air and what it does to the break up of a head.....What about you?

that arch enemy clip owns! guitarsuite is so helpful!

That is my point....sims are HELPFUL for getting ideas down but beyond that I feel like there is no replacment for a real amp miced up....
