I have just catalogued a large collection of mint (as new) original cds, on behalf of a friend, which have become available. I have just found this forum, hoping that someone could help me with advice on where or how to sell these albums so they will find a good home. I suppose I could just place the whole lot on ebay, but I'm not sure that would be the best way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is the full list:-

Sorry man, there's no good album in your list. I would myself never like to compete you in naming the most horrible cds-competition, because I would horribly lose. You, sir, are an expert in this discipline, and I salute you. I can't even imagine colleting such an amount of horridness.

EDIT: BTW, most of what you named isn't even metal. I hope I'm getting trolled now so you can laugh at your humour, but I really don't care. You're a fucking faggot.

That's mostly terrible, but actually I'll buy a couple of those off you. I'll hit you with a pm for the ones I'm interested in.

I really hope that guy's just trying to sell off his shittier albums while keeping the better ones. I don't know how else anyone with a shred of dignity could own a significant number of Metallica and Slayer albums without owning a single one of the classics. But then there are some quality albums in there by AiC, RatM and Pantera, which seem to indicate otherwise.

I'm disposing of these for a friend who's son has died. These were his. As you can probably tell, I know nothing about Metal. I'll get rid down the local boot fair. Thanks for your help.

Froff, sorry to hear about your friends loss. No one should live to see their children die.

As for the music, your best bet would be to sell it all at a local used CD shop. If you sell it all as one package online, be prepared to knock the price down as I'm sure people who want those types of CDs already have some or most on the list. Better to sell them individually.

Froff, I guess I should apologise for my comments given the circumstances. You're trying to help a friend who's had a tragic loss, which is commendable. I should probably watch my tongue more around newcomers.

I'd actually consider buying some of those albums too, so let me know if you come back.

Selling cd's is a pretty poor process as they rarely increase in value, at most I'd hope for $0.50- 4 each if you sold those second hand and only if they are in top nick, it's harsh but that's the way it goes, probably why most people horde their cd's...

second hand sotre is easy and best option, or ebay.

Sorry to here about your friend's lost and hopefully his son has found peace wherever he went next :)
