yeah I was pretty pleased with it as well. I actually expected it to be a lot grittier and more violent because I heard it was compared to the novel Blood Meridian (which is a fucking outstanding book). but it was still an awesome movie.

I dunno.. I thought it was pretty violent, I mean, other than the number of rotting corpses with spears driven through them in the film, there was that one moment when Guy Pearce gets a spear driven through him, then an aboriginal's head gets blown off, all in the one scene.
