Ozzfest last weekend. Waste of time except for Maiden, Shadows Fall, In Flames, Arch Enemy, and Mastodon. Before that Social Distortion a couple months ago.

How good was Arch Enemy? I liked them when I saw them but the chick needed to lay off the growling, IMHO. I got thru that with the latest Shadows Fall I bought. Which Arch Enemy should I buy? They remind me of 1985 Speed metal

Motorhead/COC/3 Inches of Blood/Damn 13

Awesome show, loudest I think I've ever been to...my ears rang loudly for almost a week. Motorhead was Motorhead as always, COC kicked ass and played my favorite all-time song (Fuel), and the two openers were great surprises as I hadn't heard either of them before and have since picked up both of their albums

Not a metal show....but i caught Urge Overkill in Chicago about a month ago.They were pretty good but the sound man running the P.A. was a jackoff. It wasn't towards the end that he got his shit together.

Local H in Chicago. They might not be "metal" but ofr a two piece they certainly rock way more than the white stripes. To be honest, Local H is one of my favorite bands, i believe they rock out like rock was supposed to.

I like the album it has 2 discs and a video. Arch Enemy and Shadows fall are the youngest bands I'm listening to. Angela should talk to Joey and\or John about singing - IMHO great band though.
