Vocal chain was pretty run of the mill. SM7 > N72 > Spider Line In > RNC > DAW.
However, the vocalist was pretty new in the band and this was his first recording with them, so we worked a while to find the right tone and attitude. Also the normal tweaking of vocal patterns and layering, plus a healthy dose of the stereo effect I described above. Minimal EQ and just a hair of verb in the mix.

Kick is a mix of 2 samples. One that I have been using a lot lately which is a combination of many samples and has gone through lots of revisions, and another that's pretty much just sub to fill it out a little and give it some length.

how much layering do you do and how do you find that attitude from the singer?

Added a third song to the player last night.

Zombie, I'll expand on the vocal tracking when I get a chance over the next few days. Got to get to mixing on another project ATM.
