That was then, this is now. He admitted to being mediocre then - he didn't practice and he wasn't prepared. There was an interview with him where he said not only is he a far better drummer now, but he studied intensely for the reunion show (also anticipating a possible reunion tour - which we now know isn't happening).

Plus, he sounded damn good on the Steel Dragon stuff.

He didn't sound good at Atlantic Records Anniversary a few years back when Zep reunited neither which I think was later then the Outrider tour. So me hopes you are right about him now. Any youtube clips of him now? He will never be Bonzo though.

thats my birthday too,
frankly i would be pissed if they got a new singer to go on tour let alone make a new album. If they broke up for bohnom's death because it was "bad taste" to stick a new guy back behind the kit why would they audition new singers? Isn't any member aside from the orginal line up bad taste? i can see jason because he is a blood relation but anybody other than that is just stupid
