Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill in Las Vegas, Nevada was founded by Danny “Count” Koker, of History’s Counting Cars. Count’s Vamp’d represents rock & roll and the classic era of the Sunset Strip where you can enjoy great food, drinks and music all under one roof with an outdoor patio, bar, and live music/dining room. The live music/dining room features a high quality, professional stage and sound system in an intimate setting making for the ultimate concert experience.

Located approximately 4.5 miles from the Las Vegas strip at 6750 West Sahara, Count’s Vamp’d is a rock & roll good time destination for locals and tourists! Count’s Vamp’d falls under the Count’s brand which includes Count’s Kustoms, Count’s Tattoo at The Rio, Count’s Desert Moon and Count’s 77.

Earlier today, Count’s Vamp’d shattered hearts across Vegas and around the world with the following announcement: “It is true! Count’s Vamp’d is closing on Saturday June 28 but we are going out with a bang so get your rock & roll shoes ready! Tickets for these shows on sale soon.”

Korie Koker (wife of Danny “Count” Koker, and co-owner of Count’s Vamp’d) has since commented further:

“This announcement blew up faster and bigger than expected. I can barely keep up with all the outpouring of kindness. Eventually all good things must come to an end & it does seem time! Things did not work out with our new partners which left us with this extremely difficult decision. What hurts most is making people sad! I’m so sorry 💔 Please do not be sad! We will find plenty of ways to rock, relax & enjoy a new era in Viva Las Vegas! These awesome shows are the ones Chuck Brennan has been kind enough to sponsor! We still have 7 more weeks & 17 more shows starting tonight so I have to stop crying & get to work ! Thank you beyond words to our amazing rock community, the outstanding bands, our wonderful staff & crew & coolest rock star friends! Never expected how special Count’s Vamp’d would become! Thank you! Rock & Roll Forever!”

Sebastian Bach (former vocalist of Skid Row) shared his thoughts:

“Vamp’d Vegas is way more than a rock club. I have always said that Vamp’d in Vegas is the Rainbow of Las Vegas. A place where you could just go where everybody knows your name and everybody’s glad you came like that song says. I can’t even begin to fathom how many times me and Suzanne went to Vamp’d to enjoy friends and family, sometimes we didn’t even know what band was playing. Las Vegas without Vamp’d is like having a huge black hole in the middle of the city. There’s nowhere else that we all go as rockers to hang out and meet up and hear some music. Not only that but Korie and Danny Koker were cool enough to let us film the ‘Freedom’ video at Vamp’d, so at least we have that to remember it by. This really sucks. I could never imagine this happening. Don’t know what you got till it’s gone indeed. We will always have great memories of Vamp’d 🙏 Thank you Korie and Danny & Donnie & all at Vamp’d for 16 years of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Todd Kerns (Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Toque, Sin City Sinners, The Age Of Electric) offered the following:

“Vamp’d has been the epicenter of Rock And Roll in Vegas since it’s opening as Feelgoods. The fact that it is a free standing structure outside of the usual casino system says everything about its independent spirit. Danny and Korie Koker deserve all the love and respect for nurturing a scene that supported both up and comers as well as the well established. Having played there since its inception I feel a very personal connection to its stage, crew, management and staff. Its closure will leave a hole in the heart of the Vegas scene. I will miss it dearly. The thing I’ve come to learn in my 18 years as a Vegas local is an appreciation of Las Vegas’ lack of preciousness about nearly anything. We love and respect all that came before but accept that change is inevitable. The iconic skyline changes every year. I’ve been here since before the NHL, the NFL, Formula One. It is ever growing and in a perpetual state of change. To deny it is to be crushed by it. Vamp’d should be remembered for the good times and not lamented for its eventual absence. Like most things in life we have to find the joy in having had it for all these years rather than focus on its loss. Thank you, Korie. Thank you, Danny. Thank you, Donnie. Thank you Patrick. Thank you, Brian. Thank you to an amazing staff. Thank you to the familiar faces I could reconnect with every time I walked through its doors. Cuz sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name… May 23rd I get to do it one last time making it so much more than just a show. It will be both a memorial and a celebration. I’m gonna have the time of my life… One last time. Always remember to make the most of the good times. They often end up being the glory days. Though Vamp’d is going away the great memories live on. Thank you, Vamp’d. See you next Friday.”

Brian Tichy (The Dead Daisies, Gene Simmons, Billy Idol, Whitesnake) also shared his feelings:

“Korie! Thank you and Danny and the entire staff for so many great times and non-stop laughs, and rock, and for always being so accommodating, and for being the coolest club ever. So many great memories and fun! You made it where we could walk in there just like walking into your best friend’s house. No where else like Vamp’d! I’m glad you have all become my friends now for like 15 years! Gonna miss it!”

Troy Patrick Farrell (White Lion) said:

“On the count of 3. 1, 2, 3……… ‘Boooooooooooooooooooooo!’ But Vamp’d, you’ve been so good to us all, so great for Las Vegas, for Rock N Roll… We love you.”

Vegas-based journalist/author Sally Steele posted:

“Wow! Danny and Korie Koker are selling Count’s Vamp’d! Historic club is going for 4.3 million! Any takers?”
