You could say that about heaps of people and things... Metallica inspired a whole bunch of talentless no hopers to make shitty Black album style music.

I have always hated Metallica. They sound like a bunch of rednecks just trying to play heavy. Also, I think James' voice inspired a lot of horrible singers from the 90's. Vedder, Stapp.....

There were some very cool things about Eddie's voice but he seems to ruin it for me in at least one point of every song.
