Once upon a time I was shooting video for the Maidens out here in CA. Linda's drumming was so powerful that the whole stage was vibrating and jiggling to the drums. I was seated the whole show, so when I got up, my arse was was sore! She has indirectly kicked my arse!o_O:p:loco::Spin:

I learned really quickly not to stand near Linda without earplugs when she's playing. See, she helped out Uprooted on our demo (sadly, never finished) and I was walking into the studio from outside while she was warming up. The last person that I ever heard play that loudly was my friend Jeff. Jeff once caused one musician to quit playing music because his playing was so loud. (This is not a band thing, either. We were VERY relieved when this guy could no longer inflict his "music" upon the public after playing with Jeff. Praise be to Jeff! :D )

Linda does hit hard I just wish she was hitting something else.....
I have never been a fan of Paiste crashes, I prefer Zildjian A's and K's.
All night of listen to the Paistes and I think they really sound lousy.
The ride and hats were fine.

huh, he said "jiggling" . . .

Paiste all the way man! Zildjians are cool, and I like Sabians. But I ahve ALWAYS been a Paiste man...except for the Signature series. They sound great, but dont last long. I eat'em!

Paiste Rude is the heavy choice.

I like the brigth tone of the sig seires, but I LOVE the RUDE line. I used to have a whole set of Rude, but lost most when I got back from tour about 7 years ago. The only thing that survived was a 20" Rude China. I still need to get it from my old bassplayer now that I think about it... :hotjump:

Sorry you don't appreciate the Paistes Ludmer. Didn't mean to torture you! :p I like Zildjian A's n K's too, but I prefer Paiste's sounds overall and the feel of their cymbals when struck. Paiste fits with the sound I look for and the way I personally play. On another note, both Clive Burr and Nicko McBrain are Paiste users too, so I guess it helps keep the sound true to Maiden in this case. :D

My kind of torture, "Death By Iron Maidens"!! That would be cool.
I just noticed the crashes allot. I kept wanting to slip something else in there. Hey, I loved the ride. :D
Although it's difficult for me to pick a favorite, I thought you really nailed Caught Somewhere in Time at Tribecca. I really had a great time. You guys crush!!
