Line 6 Guitarport- thoughts?

I love my Guitar Port because it fullfils my needs for what I want to use it. I travel A LOT for business and I'm usually gone 2-3 weeks per trip and I do have a laptop, the GP, and a Guitar so in my downtime I can play all i wants! :) Also it's easy to record via computer for doing demos etc, but not a professional quality. You can also trade tones to other GP users and jam along to tracks mp3 etc,

Hi!

I have one too. The Guitarport sounds amazing. From my point of view even better than POD II (can't say anything 'bout POD XT, because I haven't tried it yet.
If you want to play guitar at home with an outstanding sound, it maybe your choice.
The only thing I have to critisize is it's ability for homerecording. If you're into that I suggest first trying it with your system before buying it. Sometimes it likes to draw half of my systems resources, which makes it difficult to run it with a rather demanding sequencer software.
Still, give it a try, it's worth it.

Thanks for the responses guys! That's what I was hoping for. I don't think I will use much for recording, moreso a toy to play around with that could potentially lead to something cool.
