I actually think they did. I know that some of their top people who were responsible for many of Line 6's best products went over to Damage Control Inc.

Line 6 haven't released any actual new tone engines since the Vetta and Pod XT came out 5 years ago! They've clearly lost their way and if they keep introducing more frivolous products for the sake of products, their days are numbered. This is the same mistake Sega made in the video game console business in the early 90s, only worse!

At least, Line 6-products look better than Sega's did

A few weeks ago I thought to myself how great a stompbox-modeller would be and *boom* ... here it is. If it would be smaller, I would maybe consider buying one.
