Wiiiiierd......I always get complaints that there are too many instrumental sections and not enough singing....never the other way around... and taking the fact that they are all virtuosos, don't you think if they thought he was bad they would try and get someone else? His voice is WAY better than a lot of the vocalists out there.....he can actually sing..... there are others that wine, just growl and make noise.......just my opinion...
I never gave Mullmuzzer a chance and it seems as though I should. I think that LaBrie sounds much better on the last two DT discs and I feel a BIG problem with DT are the lame lyrics!
I didn't care much for Mullmuzzler 2, but the debut was great. As for DT lyrics, the lyrics are great on the last 2. The only album I don't like is "Falling Into Infinity", which was really an off album.
A lot of Portnoy's lyris really suck... Myung and Moore were/are the best DT lyricists, and petrucci is 50/50.

I have to agree with jimbobhickville on the lyrics.....love them all...but wasn't too crazy (whole album in general) about FII....
