Well I am too old for "becoming" a neo nazi now, I know what it is about, had many friends who turned nazi when I was 18 (Sweden -95), and other friends went the other way (left), I remained in the middle, im not into extremism, regardless of its sort.
to read hitlers book doesnt make you a nazi, neither does reading Stalins memoires make you a bolshevist. its just interesting!

I didn't say reading the book made you one... I said reading it and praising his intelligence is the first step to becoming one, then next is seeing his views as reasonable, then adapting them as your own, and so on and so forth... I was mainly making a joke though...

Hitler is described by many as a meek, timid guy initially, people made fun of his funny little moustache and then when his national worker's party or whatever got power then he commanded a bit of respect. Through propaganda they slowly grew until he gained this overconfidence and then he took power of his party, and then was handed the reigns of the country.
I think the that a major factor that enabled him to get so much was power and support from the people adside from fear/propaganda was all the sanctions the German people had on them from WWI. They were still suffering decades later for their previous crimes and then someone stood up and was like, "We don't have to take this anymore" and everyone supported that.
But whatever, no need to get into this, it's too intelligent of a convo for this forum
