HIRAX & FORCED ENTRY IN LIVE CHAT FRIDAY!

Abrasive Rock is proud to announce a live chat with Brad Hull of the
band Forced Entry & Katon W. DePena of Hirax to discuss the Abrasive
Rock Fest this Saturday, and anything else fans want to know. The live
chat will be at 12:00 noon PDT on Friday August 2nd. Fans can
pre-register at abrasiverock.com now to ensure quick log in at chat
time.

We would also like to announce at this time that we will be exclusivly
using CAD microphones at our event. We will be giving away one CAD
vocal mic to one lucky winner. This is a brand new microphone that is
currently not available to the general public yet.

The CAD D189 Dynamic Supercardioid Microphone.
The D189 is one of the finest hand held vocal microphones available at
any price.
The wide and flat frequency response provides unsurpassed natural
transparent sound quality. The
supercardioid pickup pattern minimizes annoying feedback and reduces
the pickup of unwanted off-axis sounds.
It's an amazing vocal mic, and has a solid frequency response from 50
Hz to 16,000Hz, making it perfectly suitable for a variety of
applications on guitar amps, percussion etc as well.
It's got a Flex-Form hardened steel grille screen that dramatically
resists deformation.
It utilizes an Impact Noise Rejection System internal shock mount which
insulates the transducer from the
body and an effective internal multistage pop filter which minimizes
wind and breath noise.

The CAD D189 screen is painted a durable "soft feel" black and the body
is a durable "soft feel" titanium grey.

The CAD D189 will be available in stores this Fall.
