Hey guys
I recorded this live at the radio station I work at. It was only a 2 channel board mix so not much can be done with the mix... but if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can get rid of that hiss during the quiet parts that would be much appreciated... but without destroying the upper register or the "airy" feel the vocals have. The pre's on that junk Mackie board they have at the station are noisy as hell.
The band is Company of Thieves (female singer), they are a national act signed to Wind Up Records. I think it turned out really cool. The song is called "Pressure."
Acoustic was DI and mic'd with a Heil PR30. I used mostly mic for the tone from what I remember. I think I also used a PR30 on percussion, and all vox were Shure SM58.
