I am helping a friend re vamp a small music venue.
When I say small I mean a cap of round 150 people or so, more at a squash.
He had some bigger dual powered 15 inch Mackie speakers in house which were nice but they were too big and took a lot of audience room and view of the stage so he has removed them.
We are now looking for some smaller format speakers that can be hung if possible.
The issue is we have live bands and we use it for more than just vocal. We have 2 subs in place so they don't have to be full range.
Can anyone suggest a brand and/or model of speaker based on your experience?
I would like at least 800 - 1000 watt rms each side if possible and something that can handle vocal, keys, gat etc.
