Logan Mader makes some cool sounding records. Dude from DD seems kinda douchey though. If hes so good at songwriting and whatever else he was saying he was good at (im still unclear after watching) than why has DD consistently put out worse and worse quality songs/albums (despite the production always being pretty top notch)? Also, the way he kept referencing the timelessness of the TMTC production as a separate entity from the actual material was pretty annoying. He corrected himself at the end but it seemed a bit disingenuous. Im sure im reading into it too much, but dude still seemed like a goon.

Kick ass interview, thanks for posting. Machine Head's best years were with him. And he has turned out some great productions.

His best work might be Gojira's "The Way Of All Flesh".
Joe (the singer) was also really involved in the production though he's not credited for that but anyways, it's a damn fine sounding record.
