I would remove the words in the top, it just looks strange to me and if it get's smaller,
for a webdesign or whatever you can't read it anyways.

I would put a condenser or something in the badge/emblem, then i would suggest wings on the sides and a banner going either over it or below it saying "District Recordings".
Something like this(But to your own personal taste.):
