lol @ waves

b-comp aka BOOM COMP (expert village exclusive)

t-comp would have auto tune built in

s-comp aka STURG-TRON with one button labeled "FUUUUUUUUU"

c-comp would be a re-release of c1 with new GUI

:lol::lol:

Its true dude, all Waves ever do is release the same old fucking compressors with a new GUI :D

if that's true, then it would be pretty easy to prove by doing a null test between different compressors with the same settings!

The WUP is what sucks.....

The Ilok is fine and not a problem at all for me. I just had to pay almost 300.00 to update Waves SSL bundle and Platinum bundle a few months back. I can not wait till next year to pay this again! :kickass:

they changed their policy lately, so I think you only have to pay 200$ max. no matter how many bundles you have.

Waves just emulates classic compressors and eq´s. thats it. You also could ask yourself why there are so many different analog comps ;)

And saying that every waves comp is the same with a nother GUI, is totaly bullshit!!!!!!!!

Wasn't Waves suspected of re-doing the GUIs of some plugs and marketing/selling them under different names not too long ago?

A little excited? I didn't say every one, I said some, and I also said that I heard it somewhere else, in other words take it with a grain of salt unless proven otherwise. I don't think it would be that far fetched to think a company that already rapes it's customers would do something such as that. I'm a Waves customer too and I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't even think it's a question about whether or not they recycle code (as does everybody else), but how much...

Well, in the end, I'm very content with the Waves plug-ins I've acquired. If you get the right deal for the right bundle, the value-for-money is quite okay.

I haven't had the urge to acquire any of the signature packs though.

No, but it was very late:cool:

Paying WUP is a pain in the ass, and I only pay that shit, if I NEED the update (new OSX, new Logic, NEW PLUGINS...)
