LOLZ best package evar

I have a friend that reads ALL of his books on the internet/computer (which I think proves him insane), but it's a cool site for reference. Or printing for reading on the crapper.

"I was a monkey stealing honey from a swarm of bees". Name the song.

Nope, Nico's friend isn't a monkey. Just a weirdo.

BTW deathpuppet is a "he" not an "it". He finds that demeaning. :p

Not given bread
They brought no horns
Saw down from the tree
Took up runes
Took them with screams
And down from the tree I fell

NAME THAT SONG
If you're going to quote Yggdrasil then quote it in Norwegian you dirty negro
That said, NAME THIS SONG:

"They gave no bread
They gave no mead
Peered down
I grasped the runes screaming of need
I took them
From that tree I fell"

HAHA THAT my pals GOT OWNED....HAHA.. oh.. wait...
I just did what the booklet of my ORIGINAL 1994 PRESS told me to do.

... its like exactly the same as "Yggdrasil" - I thought you were posting a more accurate english translation of it!

Yeah but what you don't realize is that these are the words of Odin from Hávamál, and approximately 39489234898234 pagan/viking/folk metal bands have used it in various translations and adaptations.

138.
None refreshed me ever with food or drink,
I peered right down in the deep;
crying aloud I lifted the Runes
then back I fell from thence.

I'm glad you let me in on that... but for the record - Enslaved did it 6 years before Einherjer. I'm also ashamed to admit that I haven't actually ever heard Einherjer.

I know, but my point was that if you're gonna do a "guess teh song!" with something that was originally sung in Norwegian AND where the translated text doesn't immediately tell you what song it is because the verse is taken from elsewhere it's going to be slightly confusing
