And now - things have come full-circle again and it's totally new but rooted in the same spirit as always.
The people who ask me when I'll stop wearing the shirts really crack me up and I feel sorry for them...because they just don't get it. It's not - nor was it ever - a fad for us. It's always been a way of life and a part of who we are. Period. They can go buy whatever happens to be popular at the moment.
OK - I need to stop before I get all sappy.

That's it right there. Personally, I missed out on a lot of the good stuff in the 90s. If the 'net had been fully up and running like it is now that wouldn't have been a problem though. I think we're right at the cusp of a new wave of metal. The younger generations seem to be latching on to the good stuff rather than what they're spoonfed over the radio. I hope so, anyway. It could be just wishful thinking.

Also alot of new Heavy Metal bands are getting attention. Myspace and alikes have alot to do with young kids getting into Metal, this way it's only a click away to a big jukebox full of Metal music !!

Information and knowledge are the best weapons to combat radio's feeding spoon. Back in the day I heard about new stuff from friends and they heard about it from me. If you open up that group of friends to millions around the world, word will spread faster. It's an interesting time we live in.
