looking for metal vox!

If anybody wants to know what the hell I am saying:

your cloak and dagger has failed to conceal
the breath and shivers surrendered to this night

you'll never see the end
you'll never witness truth

and I will watch you break

I feel you near me, spirits I implore
In floods of life and creative storm

the words are just spur of the moment, inspired by the music

Sounds fucking massive. You did really well on the vox. :kickass:

+1

I keep listening to it... over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...

you get the point...

When are you releasing the cd? lol... cause I'd buy that shit in a second. <----------- HINT HINT

Thanks Everyone, I appreciate the feedback. I just wish I had the uncompressed source to track with. The vocals almost overtake the guitars.

Processing? Not really any processing aside from the usual delay, EQ, Compression. Except, I did the reverse reverb trick (preverb as they call it) on the 2nd and 4th phrases. I used an AT4040 mic going into an ART PRO MPA (lol) with RME ADI 2 converters.

I've been wanting to scream in a melo death song for a long time, and it was damn fun!

could you explain the preverb trick to me? I have used reversed reverb to make vocal swells but I would love to learn how you did that.

Thanks a lot man. I am in reverence!

It's nothing special really. Since I use Pro Tools, I just copied the dry phrases and reversed them. Then I used an Audio Suite verb with a long RT60 to process it. And after reversing it to it's original state again, you just blend the wet & dry phrases to taste.

Great job with the Music & Vox....I must have listened about 20x sounds great. Do you go direct with the podXT ? Also are you using East/West or Toontracks - DKFH
