This is a quick clip from a really, really simple song I threw together basically just as a learning experience in breaking in some new gear and recording/mixing techniques, since it's been a long time since I've been able to record anything.

I know that the palm muted riff is also not played quite tightly enough, but hopefully it shouldn't interfere with the ability to judge the mix.
Anyway, I know it's got some problems, but I'm beginning to hit a metal brick wall, so I'd love to get some feedback and advice.
