Looking for new music, any ideas?

I've been surfing around looking for new bands, something worth actually paying for. I thought I'd post something here, see what kind of answers I get. I'm looking for something with a touch of bands like Carcass, Possessed, mixed with a little speed like that of Meshuggah.. in general.

Any decent band you think are worth listening to, let me know. Throw any ideas at me, I'll check into them.

Insanely filthy Japanese (I believe) pornogrind.

Not really what you were looking for, but fuck it.

I've reduced to going onto Kazaa Lite, typing in 'death metal' in the audio type and downloading everything from bands i've not heard yet. Not very good.

 

[NAD]

Old Sepultura, Nile, Morbid Angel, Vader, etc.

Nothing much comes close to Carcass though.

Catasexual Urge Motivation, I'll have to check them out simply from the name alone. As far as pornogrind goes, I like Anal Blast so I'll have to check it out. While they aren't pornogrind, "Yellow Machine Gun" is good for (dare I say) women playing metal.

You're not alone man, I do the same thing. I've discovered a 'few' good bands that way, but not many. I use Kazaa all the time, don't get me wrong, I feel strongly about supporting bands, but some times I can get music faster there, rather than going and ordering it from a record store. Since some of our music is rare, I've waited months on a bootleg, or an old demo cd to be imported. Have you taken the new update on Kazaa? I've been weary of taking it. How much extra spy-ware does it add, is it worth it?

I used to have WinMX and I liked how it didn't have spyware but it somehow stopped working on me so I switched to Kazaa.

I suggest bands like Candiria, Entombed, God Forbid, Nasum, Obituary and Scar Culture.

By the way, I think porno grind is a really bad joke.

I'd suggest Visceral Bleeding... kind of like early Carcass, Monstrosity and Cryptopsy jumbled together. Very good stuff. Oh, and I second Southern Man I Am's reccomendation of December - The Lament Configuration is a really intense extreme metal album with some killer hooks.
