This band is really near and dear to my heart. We put in a tone of work on this project, but I have recently started a Medical type school, so I have absolutely no time to mix this EP.

There is 6 full songs, a short intro type song, and a cool keyboard song.

The project was recorded in Pro Tool 8, and all drums have been edited (to heck and back) using elastic time. This was my first time using ET, and I messed up so the drum tracks can not be Consolidated because it will erase all the ET edits. Every drum beat on every song is Quantized to either the 32nd note or 32nd not trip. So basically the project has to be mixed in pro tools. I know that prob knocks out half of the people on this board, but trust me you do not want to re-edit these drums.(Not to say they are bad, but there is just a ton of stuff going on) There are a few options for guitars as well. We tracked first with an amp cab, and then decided to reamp with PodFarm (Which IMO sounds a lot better) None the less there is clean tracks off all guitars, so re-reampling is possible.

A little bit about the band, and Music: They label themselves pop metal. The music is really catchy at parts, and also really stinking brutal. They're influenced by bands like The Devil Wears Prada, I see Stars, and attack attack, so they are not just wanting a flat mix. They are really wanting a Mix engineer with not only talent, but some one who wants to be creative with the project. Exp Flang on vox, cool effects before break downs, and other Joey'esk things haha. Sorry had to go there.

The band dose currently have Management, and will prob end up getting picked up by some label eventually. They have a ton of potential, and this is their first "real recording" so it's not perfect but I think it's good enough that who ever mixes it could possibly benefit from having their name attached to it.

If at all interested please contact me through my myspace profile.

There must be a way to save the edits, otherwise you're never going to be able to export the song.

Even going file->export audio, for each track, doesn't work?

Upload the unedited files and I will re edit as well as mix one of the songs. If you like what i come up with we can talk about pricing for all the songs. The studio I work at deals with alot of bands with influences in that genre not to mention im a fan myself so mixing this project would be a blast! Also i have most of the next few weeks free so it would be perfect for me

maybe we need rules for this whole : $$ FOR MIXING THING especially here...?

in the past i feel that this forum has been used (not to say ABused)
to let great talents on this forum work for way too less money
(no offense, i'm just talking general and maybe for the future...)

i will start a thread.
