Programming drums is easy. It just takes some time to do a good job. If you're working on a full, finished composition just go in and vary the velocity of each hit by a little bit or use slightly different samples for parts where the same drum is hit a whole bunch of times. Other than that, remember that a real drummer only has two hands and two feet (this includes using the hi-hat pedal) and use your ear. It's simple.

that speed vid is sick.. i wish they had a camera on his legs n' feet.

I just video taped George January 30th,2006. I was on his drum riser (right behind him!). Did the whole show, there's 3-4 tunes at Blastology. I specifically took many angles of his insane kick technique! Look for the video----> TBH_George1custom_chat
