Lord of the rings!

yah my brothers said tht it was good. oneof th ebest of the year. very good though. oneof the best movies they have ever seen visually(which seemed very obvious). not as good as the book(again obvious) but i don't think its humanly possible to have the movie as good as the book seeing as the movie owuld have to like 15 hours long just for one of the books.

It is an awesome movie. I haven't read the book, so I wasn't going in with any preconceptions about it. I really think people should quit comparing books to movies; they are 2 different media, obviously they won't be able to go into as much detail in a 3 hour movie as they would in a 1000 page book (or however long it is).

It's inevitable to compare the book with the movie, especially if you like the book!
In this case the director(Peter Jakson) respected the book and made a movie worth its name.

Well, I don't think Tolkien would be that pleased with the film.
to straighten things up, IT IS NOT BAD!!! IT'S GREAT.
Of course like said a zillion times before, you can't put everything on tape but some stuff is really changed.
The end is completely different ,sure Boromir died and frodo left but that's bout it...Also I miss GLORFINDEL!!!!Arwen should keep her pretty face in Rivendell and leave the heavy shit to the Elves with a.. penis or so...

anyway, going to see it saturday again!!!
spectacular stuff in it.

PS:HAPPY YULE EVERYBODY!!:)

yah so i saw it and it was hella good
i haven't read the book, so i don't hikn there was much chance for me to get disappointed, seeing as most people who were disappointed wit hthe movie were so because the book was so much better, but you CANNOT completely turn a book int oa movie. especially not this book.

Well,I've read the book 3 times (so far) and I was NOT disappointed by the film at all!In fact I believe it's very close to the book and it's atmosphere, altough there are many little details missing.
I'll definitely see it again next week!

about the battles..they've cut the bloodiest pieces out to get it kids allowed.
The DVD will have the complete movie =))

Sauron was very impressive IMO.I like the 'flashbacks'

Indeed Snipous, too many detailes were left, which would have made it even a little more interesting...
