New single. The "HEAVY METAL" chant in the middle by the metal zombies is quite cool and funny. The track itself is not that great but I can imagine it going down a storm live once you've had a few beers down you! I hope the other tracks have much bigger hooks though.

I've been following this band since the first album and I love them. A really fun band to listen to.
Looking forward to the new album. Thanks for posting...this song is catchy as hell!

I know a lot of people hate on this band, but to be honest I love them. Got into them a couple years ago when they did that free Ozzfest. I did not like Deadache at all though. I'm hoping the new one is a return to form.

I downloaded it from the End they day they released it. I love me some Lordi. But am I the only one who thinks Mr. Lordi is putting on some weight there?

I'm with you. I loved the first 3 disks, but Deadache was average at best, with only a handful of OK songs. This new song is very good IMO and I'm looking foward to the new album.

You know i kinda think of Lordi as The Slade of the this millineium. Slade was one of the most fun bands to see live, they actually used a drum and bagpipe corp in their show.

That pretty much sums up Lordi. They're fun but not really clever in the music writing department. Still. they got a good thing going and are a good time live, so good for them.

Gwar meets Manowar... and not in a good way.

As you say, Gwar only in the image dept. I'm not getting the Manowar reference though. It's strictly Kiss and a touch of Alice Cooper. I even remember reading that Mr. Lordi at one time was the head of the Kissarmy in Finland or some part of Europe.

If I ever find the one LORDI promo CD I received years ago, I will gladly give it away free.

Once I heard the wretched HARD ROCK HALLELUAH (SP???), I knew I never wanted to hear more from this band again.

What pains me is that their label THE END, spends more promotional dollars on LORDI, while long time hard working bands on their label, like Agalloch, Novembers Doom, Ulver (for a period of time), Sigh, UneXpect, etc, get VERY little promotional push.

I don't think Agalloch is signed to The End Records anymore.

WHile I love them, I agree with you. They seem to push money on Lordi and Manson. Unfortunately, those bands you mentioned just aren't something that would be popular even if pushed properly. Sure, they'd see increased amount of fans, but it wouldn't ever be that popular. Didn't know Unexpect was on The End.

I think he maybe meant DANZIG.

Sure, those bands I mentioned might not have mainstream success, but for goodness sakes. These are solid bands who should be doing full US tours at minimum.
